Merry Christmas.

This Christmas was family time again. It was celebrated in Celle where my parents live. It is a very beautiful and old city - I will proof that later on.

This was the first time that we had a mistletoe. It was very well appreciated and taken.

My parents - it took them a while to get in the 'mood'. Our family laughs a lot.
finally.
As I have no guy to kiss I kissed my brother instead.
But he really kissed his wife. I wasn't allowed to put the proof on the internet. ;)Christmas Scandinavian tradition is to eat different casseroles, a baked ham and a special salad with fish. Delicious.

Present time. Susan got the most presents.
But Lasse is still smiling.
My dad is a bit silly. And a huge Elvis fan so he was quite happy to get the biography of him.
My mom.
Me. Serious. Presents?
Me. A bit silly. With presents this time.
Later at night we drove to the city church of Celle where they had a Christmas mass. It was really beautiful.
Inside.
When we got in we all got a little slim white candle which was lit after the mass had started. What a beautiful idea.
This is Celle.

I enjoyed our Christmas time. It was very cosy. Just my parents, Lasse, Susan and I.

Happy New Year.

unfair.

Snow Patrol,
The Killers and
Kasabian

are coming to Frankfurt. On a Sunday.

movement.

It's done. I moved out last Friday. Luckily my mom came to help me clean everything up and drive me around to get the van and everything.

Mom's are the best.

I am happy that it's over but it also feels weird to not have a real home now, to live at a friends place without your own furniture. Am I a vagabond now? But I look forward to living at Bettina's. She is awesome and a movie buff like me. She also lives close to the river Main and the new year's resolution I have already made is to go running. I have slacked around enough!

So, goodbye appartment, goodbye tummy. Half of you is enough.

sweet bed.

Yesterday Meike and I had a little car accident. Meike wanted to turn right but didn't see the car coming the narrow street so she drove into it. Meike is fine, the car's bumper is off and the golf's door is broken and I sprained my neck and back. It's not that bad but it does hurt.

So today I have been doing this whilst in bed:

- Watching 'Ugly Betty' - quite entertaining
- chatting
- surfed the internet
- tried to find someone who will take my piano until friday!! (pray for me)
- and watched trailers

Here are the films I would like to see:

* a nice chick-flick and the guy in that film. CUTE!

*this one will be amazing! Great soundtrack, the photography, arts and filming is great!

* Harry Potter

ok that's it for now.

Califor n i a.

Where in California do I belong?
You Belong in San Diego

Laid back and friendly, you were meant to live most of your life on the beach.
You usually think everything is "all good"... except when the weather dips under 60F.
You stay classy - especially when you're in Tijuana!
Hmmm.. This result doesn't really go well with my plan to move to Helsinki.. But I really love snow, too.

But, you know - 'it's all good'.

This quiz was first seen here: replikate.

bake it - don't break it.

Last Saturday we had a little Christmas cookie baking session at our place with some friends. Our appartment looks a bit chaotic and empty as many things are already sold or packed..

Here is me - I did scandinaivan 'ginger cookies'. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of the process. My blogging documentations are a bit lacking right now.

Don't you just love eating dough?
Some Viennese guests. Jared and Conny. We also had Katja, but no picture taken.
Our beloved Vera and Bettina were also there with some serious attacking skills.
Silly as we are Vera and I took some dough and tried to look like bad witches. Grosse, ey?
Last but not least - this is how the ginger cookies look like normally. Mine were a bit darker. :/
Merry Christmas.

Munich.

After I was done with visiting Augsburg I drove to Munich to spend the weekend with my good and old friend Alexandra. She turned 30 and had her birthday party.

Friday night we went to 'Sausalitos' a mexican bar and ate some delicious mexican food. Stuart, Alexandra's boyfriend is Irish, so he invited some of his Irish friends for the party. They were absolutely great - funny, caring and nice - and the accent...

Alex and I at Sausalitos.
Saturday morning we started preparations for the party. This is Conny, Alexandra's friend.
John was putting some light into the room. Nice job, John.
Stu made some important calls.
When I still lived in Munich us 4 used to hang out a lot. But mostly it was me, Silke and Alex. Beth is the beauty on the right, currently living in London.
Alex and I.Around 11 pm Stuart surprised Alexandra with 2 cakes he had ordered. One said '28' although she turned 30 - what a nice guy! ;)
Afterwards Alex and Stuart got together and announced that they are getting married! That was quite exciting - too bad I didn't catch 'the moment'. They are such a great couple and I am already looking forward to the wedding.

'The ring'. So beautiful.
Silke and Andy, both former colleagues.
Stuart also invited his cute Irish cousins. They thought I was 24 ;)

I was responsible for the music at the party and had a great time. One of the guys also came and asked me if I was a professional DJ..

The day after - John still in a slight coma. I am glad that I didn't and don't drink..
Alexandra and Stuart - they look quite fresh actually.

What a great weekend. Memories, laughter, great people and good music.
