THE a ki(n)d of wonderful

One of my best friends Sara has an almost 6 year old daughter named Saphira. She is by far the most intelligent, opinionated and happy kid I've met.

So, tonight both of them came over for a good time and a movie. After a while Saphira got a little bored and asked me if she can draw something. I brought her something better. A paper doll where she can cut out the clothes and color some clothes. Can you see how accurate she cut out the clothes? I asked her who taught her that. She said 'I did'. I asked her what else she taught herself to which she replied:'Aw Senja (sigh) there is so much, I don't even know where to start.' Fantastic! Some minutes later I said that I need some love and asked her if she wants to cuddle. But she said 'No, I have a headache!!' :)
See guys, not only shoes or other fancy stuff can make a girl happy!
These are the clothes she had to color herself. Isn't her choice of colors great for a 6 year old? And she was also able to color it all within the lines..
I want to have a kid like her later on.

E. E. Cummings

I love this poem so much.

i carry your heart with me

i carry your heart with me (i carry it in
my heart) i am never without it (anywhere
i go you go, my dear; and whatever is done
by only me is your doing, my darling)

i fear
no fate (for you are my fate, my sweet) i want
no world (for beautiful you are my world, my true)
and it's you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart (i carry it in my heart)

Vegas, baby

Vegas, the last station. We flew to Vegas Wednesday afternoon and stayed in the Venetian! OMG!

The view from our hotel suite:
Amazing.
Thursday morning we drove to Hover Damm and had a boat trip. It was so much fun and beautiful.

After 2 hours we arrived in Arizona somewhere where we tood a Speedboat like this to 'Cottonwood Cove' for 30 min. That was so much fun!! At the Cove we had a nice party and drove back to the hotel by bus for some more fun!
Cottonwood Cove
We went to see.. Can you guess?
The Phantom of the Opera!
It was really great, my first time I saw it and I loved it so much!

Friday morning I met friends from my secret internet club. April and Suzy who were so much fun!! I really enjoyed meeting them and that April and her husband Thom even drove all the way from SLC to see me. That was awesome.

April, Tom and Suzy at Bellagio's buffet's desert. Aww.. delicious.
Tom had a little 'girl overload'. Poor guy. Suzy had to go back to work for some hours and we wanted to see the lions, but..
:( but we saw some great looking fish. I do love to see fish though. I love colours and they come in all different kinds of it.
They even have a Nike-fish!
Bathroom action going on here. Gretel, Suzy and April.
Tom didn't feel well (overload!?) and so just the girls went to 'Löwenbräuhaus' a bavarian restaurant in Las Vegas. April studied in Kiel for a semester and wanted to have some German food again. I was fine with it and off we went. It was great and so authentic!!
The 2 beautiful ladies! Ok it might look horrible but it tastes delicious!

The American flag can't be missed.
Even Nicolas Cage enjoys himself some bavarian gay old time once in a while. Good man.
Good bye Bavaria! And good bye Vegas and America. Thanks for treating me so well.

living in america.

Hello America!

I arrived in Houston last Wednesday where we had a big event for some of our clients. I will post pictures when I have more time. This just as an update..

Things I have noticed while in the US:

  • I am not as crazy for Swedish Fish, Hershey's chocolate and Peanut Butter Cups here as I used to be
  • I miss not going to church on a Sunday
  • I could really get used to wearing Flip Flops every day. Sigh.
  • My stomach feels like it is bursting. No - not gassy, just huge from too much of unhealthy food..
  • I crave a day with only fruit and vegetables
  • I miss driving my bike!!
  • I miss having time on my own (I am only with distributors or my colleague)
  • I have learned some valuable stuff about me
  • I met some great people
  • I can find the shoes I have been wanting for so long. And for a good deal!
  • When you think your jet lag is over you are suddenly so tired that you feel like you have been hit by a hammer.
  • I have a great boos
  • I miss Meike and I miss my own bed
  • Hilton beds are amazing
  • Texas is not as humid as I thought it would be
  • mexican guys in a mariachi band are hot! Ay caramba!
  • My colleague snores (thank heavens for earplugs.)
More to come soon - pictured documentary.
good night.
