Paris the city of love. Yes, also last weekend. One of my good friends Noelle got married last weekend. It was very international - see why:
- Noelle - the bride - is Canadian, had lived in the Netherlands (Rotterdam) for some years, after which she moved to London.
- Pierre - the groom - is Belgian, lives in Paris
- Noelle moved to Paris last year
- Nationalities attending at the wedding: German/Finnish, Dutch, German, British, French, Belgian, Canadian, American
- the wedding was in Paris on Friday, the sealing in our temple, in Den Haag on Saturday
- In order to attend the wedding I drove from Germany to France - from France through Belgium to The Netherlands. Hence, "4 countries in 1 weekend".
It was really beautiful that weekend. The weather and the wedding was amazing and Paris was sooo beautiful. Noelle lived in Versailles and it was just soo beautiful there. Too bad I didn't take more pictures.
The view from the train station in Versailles.

The Seine.

Noelle made her dress by herself! It got ready the day before the wedding.. Charla, her sister, helps her to dress.

Her patient dad waiting - but a bride cannot be in time for her wedding.

Isn't she beautiful?

The city hall with the dutchies and brits.

Dutch connection.

Here she comes. Her dad put her veil on. Not.

The maids of honor. Charla and Ryanne.

Yes!

The bubble-boy - Noelle's brother.

Bubble-girl Rachel.

- no comment needed -

We had all kinds of food from the different countries/nationalities.

Luit - the "chick magnet.."

I even found Dr. Pepper! Man, he was so good. On my lips. Sigh.

Saturday morning after the sealing - now it is "official"!

Meike - daydreaming..

Rachel, me, Mahana.

Meike and I drove back Sunday after church and were tired but happy. It was great to see our friends again and "dance like shmaniacs"!
The end.
